Assembly example 1: For most urban undivided roads




This assembly seeks to address street design within urban areas; the followings are some overall tips:

-          Safety, Safety, Safety and cycling-friendly.
-          Your design should be influenced by the type of place and driver behavior in which the street is located.
-          The most difficult is to balance the needs of all users.
-          You should take care of the attractiveness and the beauty of your design (attract stakeholder).
-          Forecasting traffic could be one of the complex things in the urban areas.
-          Effectiveness in cost and efficiency.
-          Priority to pedestrians and cyclists.
-          Easy access to public transport
-          Motor vehicles has come to dominate our urban areas, streets are managed and used promotes or discourages a sense of community, deciding where to make a car parks, garden space, commercial or residential aria …  is very primordial.
-          Using speed limitation range of 30 to 50 Km/h, and the speed ramps.
-          Accessibility, including people with disabilities.

Why we need to use Data Shortcuts Folders ?

 
The benefit of using shortcuts in Civil 3d is to improve the performance of the software, by using the surface and the alignment as a shortcut you will be amazed how fast civil 3d is comparing to using everything in the same file.
 In addition you can organize your team of engineers to work with the software in the most efficient way especially the complex model would require breaking objects out into individual files, in addition using this method makes Civil 3d perform faster.
 
First Click on the manage tab and choose new shortcuts folder
Civil3d-Pro
Name your folder
Civil3d-Pro
You will have in your PC a set of folders where you can find XML files connecting to your Civil 3d data
